Happy 5th of July

Earlier this week we registered our 5,000th artist at RadioFire.net. This was a major milestone for us, so we celebrated by taking a day off for a BBQ and fireworks (OK, so it just happened to be a national holiday). Though it goes without saying, we're continually humbled to find support from so many gifted musicians with the common interest of sharing their music with other people.

As a young site, the process of constantly setting goals is necessary to help us better serve you. More than just raising standards, we're committed to making sure artists and listeners enjoy their RadioFire experience by increasing the site's performance with such features as quicker music player response time and easy navigation.

We're now nearing the final phase of an exciting make over aimed at creating a vital social music destination for all. From the ground up, the major overhaul will offer an inviting place that artists from all musical genres can look forward to utilizing and passing along to friends. At the same time, we're determined to provide people a space to get to know each other and share their varied tastes and opinions in local talent and more.

We'll keep you posted as we close in on our countdown to the big unveiling. Until then, know that we're doing our best to help you spread your music to as many ears as possible. We have many more milestones to meet and consider ourselves fortunate to have you along for the ride.
